Wild geese foundation

All over the world, Wild Geese Foundation supports people in their efforts to achieve a better future for their community in developing countries. Our support is aimed at tangible, small-scale projects for and by the people themselves, without discrimination concerning race, language, religion or sexual orientation.

In addition to supporting small-scale projects, Wild Geese Foundation invests in domestic resource mobilization and claim making capacity in low & middle income countries for structural, long term changes.

Clean drinking water for thousands of Zimbabweans

Many things are lacking in the extremely impoverished country of Zimbabwe, among which is potable water. Thanks to the collaborative effort of the local population, a dowsing rod (an instrument used to detect water sources), and contributions from the Dutch foundation Zuva Rabuda, the Dutch embassy, and Wild Geese, 3,496 people in 12 villages now have access to clean potable water.

Safe school for children in El Esfuerzo

Fifty kilometres south of the Guatemalan capital lies El Esfuerzo, a tightly-knit community that knows how to tackle problems. The inhabitants want the best for their children’s future, and therefore have built a school themselves, through the assistance of Wild Geese and the organisation Stichting Kinderprojecten Guatemala (Guatemala Children Foundation), after support from the government was denied.
